who are we?

Gallery Websites was set up by Dav Thomas and Tim Parkin – two people obsessed not only by web design and development, but also by landscape photography.

Dav has 20 years experienced as a graphic designer – he’s worked for some of the Yorkshire’s biggest advertising agencies and has been a freelance designer and photographer for the last 10 years. Dav has extensive knowledge of website design, producing sites that are not only simple and elegant but also  functional and search engine friendly.

Tim’s an engineer at heart and used to lecture in computational engineering at Manchester university but for the last fifteen years he has worked on some of the UK’s biggest websites from Sporting Life  to the Press Association, ASDA to London Hospital, in most cases writing his own content management systems and web frameworks using open source tools. He now shares his time between running one of the worlds biggest landscape photography websites (developed in WordPress, of course), taking photographs and creating portfolio websites for his fellow photographers.
